While out at Exploration Place, they had some food trucks out in the evening. One of the trucks was one I haven’t been to in a couple of years. It was U-Hungry Truck. I figured that was a good a time as ever for a revisited review.

U-Hungry Truck had a lot going on. Their menu was definitely for anybody who was hungry and gave people no reason to go elsewhere with their selection. They had wings, gyros, catfish, BBQ, fried catfish and shrimp, tacos, sub sandwiches, hot dogs, hamburgers, desserts, root beer floats, Italian sausage, and so much more.
I wanted to go with something that my mother loved previously but I missed out on, their catfish. It was done in relatively great timing and I was ready to grub.
After the first bite, one of the first things that stuck out to me was the breading and seasoning. I loved the slight crunchiness to it. It was a light breading that didn’t give off an overly salty flavor. The catfish itself were big planks that were easy to pick up and eat by hand which made for a great food truck item. There was an endless pile of fries underneath the catfish that could have fed my daughter for months. The only downside of the fries was that they were a little soggy.
Aside from the fries, I was a huge fan of the catfish. So many people are always asking about catfish and when it comes to the food truck scene, this is one of the best options out there.
Here’s their menu:
