The Angry Elephant to open a second location this winter

When the sign went up in July, people were all over social media curious as to what was going on. By now many of you have heard the news but if you haven’t, The Angry Elephant is expanding. For the original fans of the restaurant, they should be happy to know the restaurant is returning to the south side.

Originally opening in 2017 near 31st and Hillside, the very popular restaurant on social media made the move to the west side, where they are still located in the Augustino Brewing Co. restaurant space at 756 N. Tyler.

The plan is to keep their west side location going and then open inside the former Burger King at 111 E 47th St. S., just five miles away from where it all started. They will completely renovate the old fast food spot and make what should be a bigger, badder and dare I say angrier restaurant. According to a post made on their Facebook page, they plan for the second location to open this winter.

If you have yet to try them, you can do so at their west side location, where they are open seven days a week starting at 11 a.m. They close at 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, at 9 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 6 p.m. on Sundays.

Here’s their menu for reference.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
