One of the best values and burritos in town are back at Juarez Bakery. Earlier this year, the burritos were not available and I was told they weren’t sure if they’d ever be back. But good news arrived last month when I was told the burritos returned to store shelves.
The burritos were the topic of a blog and something I’ve driven out of my way for multiple times. I’m so happy they are back.
There are so many flavors to choose from, but I’d recommend getting there early as they sell out fast. Such flavors include:
- Papas a la Mexicana
- Pork/Nopales
- Picadillo/Verde
- Frijoles/Queso
- Chicharron Verde
The prices for the burritos range around $3 to $3.60 depending on the meat option you choose. At those prices, they are one of the best values in town.
My favorite is the chicharron which had a little chile verde inside to give it a nice kick of heat to wake me up. It was stuffed with plenty chunks of tender pork.
These were purchased at the south Seneca location but are also available at the Waco spot. I was told the burritos are available every morning except for Sunday. They only make a limited quantity, so like I said, get there early!
