Many of my friends have been telling me to check out a local nail salon out in northwest Wichita. We’ve gone to support nail salons in different parts of town, but have yet to visit that area of town. BLŪM Nail Bar has come highly recommended, so we set some time aside to go check them out and help spread the word of another locally owned business.

I always say this when talking about my pedicure experiences, and I’ll say it again. I’m at no level of expertise to be reviewing nail salons for people. But considering well over 55% of my readers at female, I figured this visit would be a nice topic for a blog to let people know of another option in town.
BLŪM Nail Bar has been in town in 2018 and recently celebrated their three-year anniversary. They are located on north Maize Road in the same strip center that holds El Agave Mexican Restaurant.
I didn’t get a chance to take many pictures as the place was busy. So busy, I’m sure the last thing people wanted was to be in the background of my photos.
For our visit, we both stopped by for pedicures and manicures. This was actually my very first time ever getting a manicure. I opted out of getting my nails colored though.
For our pedicures, we had Lanh and Jay. They did a fantastic job; both were engaging and enjoyable to talk to.
BLŪM Nail Bar offered complimentary wine, wine coolers, pop and water.
I loved the setup at BLŪM Nail Bar. They had enough televisions that I was able to watch the early afternoon football games while enjoying our pedicures and manicures.
It was so relaxing, I nearly fell asleep a few times while sitting in the massage chairs. Huge props to both Lanh and Jay for making our first trip to BLŪM a great one.
Like I said, I’m not one to be in the business of reviewing nail salons, but I’m also here to help people find alternatives and suggestions for places to go. For me, it’s fun and gives us an excuse to have a day date together.
