They have three locations in town. I’ve been to two of the three, so I wanted to knock out the newest Uno Mas Fresh Mex location on north Rock Road. They opened in the former Pita Pita space within the past year. Just like their west side location, Uno Mas incorporated two of the things they do best into the new space… burgers and tacos.

I’ve had so many items on their menu and wanted to branch out with something I haven’t had before. The burrito bowl caught my eye which included your choice of meat, Mexican seasoned rice, shaved lettuce, queso fresco, pico de gallo, sour cream and guacamole. The lady recommended al pastor for my burrito bowl.
The picture doesn’t do it justice, but the bowl was bigger and deeper than it originally looked. Not only was it filling, but there was a noticeable fresher quality to everything placed inside. Between the queso fresco, pico de gallo and guacamole, there was a very lively flavor to it. Literally, every single bite had a fresh pop to it. The ingredients all meshed quite well together to make for a tasty lunch.
I walked away feeling more than satisfied after a quality, delicious meal. Yet again, another win for me at Uno Mas.
