Have you ever heard of The Coop? It’s a co-op that allows bakers and food providers to rent space inside, whether it’s a shelf or a refrigerator. It’s a shared space that is perfect for home bakers to sell their products. Basically, it’s a marketplace for local vendors to get more visibility and a storefront space. At the same time, The COOP doubles up as a coffee shop.
One of the cool things we saw at The COOP was coffee flights. Many of you have probably heard of beer flights where you get smaller samples of drinks to taste test different offerings they have. This way it gives you a chance to try multiple things without having to order the full-size product.

The COOP sells coffee flights in quantities of four. For $8, it includes four 6 oz. iced drinks. The menu (found below) includes over 70 different options. We dropped in and order a couple of flights between the two of us.
We had the following iced coffees:
- Avalanche
- Blondie
- Caramel Macchiato
- Creme Brulee
- Sticky Bun
- Tiramisu
- Turtle
- German Mocha
Flights are always fun, especially when shared with others. It makes for a conversational piece as you try each sample and discuss which ones you like best.
We each had our favorites. The Creme Brulee and Caramel Macchiato stood out as ones we both loved; then the Avalanche rounded out my top three and Sticky Bun was in Megan’s top three.
Overall, it was a cool start to our morning. We weren’t sure how many people knew about their coffee flights, so hopefully you learned about something new today.
