Local chef to appear on Guy’s Grocery Games for a second time

Last year, The Kitchen’s owner Chef Natasha Gandhi-Rue, appeared as a contestant on Food Network’s competition series, Guy’s Grocery Games, and walked away with the $20,000 grand prize.

A keepsake from her appearance on the show can be seen inside the restaurant.

Following her win, Gandhi-Rue was invited to return for a second time on the show.

That’s right! Set your DVR for Wednesday, November 17 at 8 p.m. CT. The show’s synopsis is now available on the Food Network website.

Guy Fieri welcomes four chefs who are thankful for their previous GGG wins back to compete in the toughest Thanksgiving competition ever: making both a Thanksgiving hors d’oeuvre and dinner in just one hour. First, each chef must serve up a family favorite hors d’oeuvre. Then, the competitors spin a wheel to determine what ingredient they’ll have to incorporate into their Thanksgiving dinner. The winning chef will end up stuffing their wallet with up to $20,000.

The theme will be Thanksgiving.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
