Belle & Buddy’s Kitchen
When it comes to homemade jams, jellies and apple butter, one local vendor worth looking into is Belle & Buddy’s Kitchen. I’m not sure I’ve seen a more active business working their tails off to be at every pop-up shop, farmers market, and bazaar in town.
In recent months, they’ve been at the Magdalen Bazaar, Haute Handmade Pop Up Market, Orie Garlic Fest, and the Old Town Farm and Art Market.
The business started in 2015 and over the years, they’ve been coming up with new flavors. They now have over 100 flavors of jams and jellies, some of which are seasonal, and at least 12 varieties of apple butters.
Some of their bestsellers include Vanilla Cardamom Strawberry Vanilla Jam, Black Dragon Jam, Apricot Ginger Rosemary Jam, Vanilla Spiced Apple Butter and Sand Plum Jelly.
If you’re ever at their stand, I highly recommend the Blueberry Garlic Marmalade or Cowboy Peach Jam. Peach Jam isn’t something I typically eat at home, but theirs is the exception to the rule. With so many flavors, there’s literally something for everyone.
Their products run typically $7-8, but they have deals such as Buy 5 Get 1 Free.
