We were craving a sit down Chinese restaurant, not your quick-service spot where every menu looks to be the same. One of the allures about Lee’s Chinese Restaurant is their “authentic Chinese menu” which features more traditional items. That menu can be found at the very end of this blog.

We ended up going with dishes from their regular menu and authentic menu. We had some and the five-spiced duck, sweet & sour chicken, rice and noodles. Everything was served family style and was as visually appealing as it was delicious.
All their poultry dishes are done well and much better than what you can find at the quick-service Chinese spots in town. If you really want to branch out though from the norm, I highly recommend the five-spice duck. The dish was a thing of pure beauty.
Everything from the skin to the tender, delicious meat hiding underneath was a tasty delight. There was a perfect amount of heat that was good for all heat tolerances at the table. It was the good type of heat that kept you coming back for more, but not punching the back of your throat to the point you couldn’t take it anymore. We asked for a mild to medium level of spiciness and they did us right. The plate had plenty of duck to go around for the two of us. Literally, I’m craving it as I write about it.
Lee’s has been a long-time staple for forty years. If you’ve never been before, it’s one to add to your bucket list to try at least once.
Here’s the menu:
Happy Dining,
