Normandie Center McDonald’s set to open with free food giveaways for a year and more

People have watched construction take place at Normandie Center and its completion will be finalized on Tuesday, Dec. 14. The new McDonald’s will celebrate their grand opening in a big way at their new location of Central and Woodlawn. It’s set to replace the McDonald’s at Central and Edgemoor which will close on Tuesday.

To commemorate the opening, there will be a week’s worth of events starting with Tuesday at 6 a.m. when doors open. The first 100 people in the lobby along with the first 100 people in the drive through will get a card that’s good for one free extra value meal once a week for a year. The card will be good only for that location. People love lining up for free food and I don’t expect this one to be any different.

Other events include appearances by Wichita State men’s basketball players, Morris Udeze and Ricky Council IV, a live broadcast with Greg “The Hitman” Williams, Ronald McDonald, and giveaways such as Apple AirPods, televisions, bicycles and more.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
