Barnyard Indoor Playground to close at the end of February

Barnyard Indoor Playground

Unfortunately, there’s some sad news to share. The Barnyard Indoor Playground will be closing their doors.

Owner Chloe Stodle made the announcement in a 15-minute video she posted on their Facebook page. Wichita’s first indoor playground for children 6 and under had quite the struggles between the stay-at-home order, COVID-19 and even a deer breaking into their building which caused another closure.

Stodle said February 26 will be the last day of business. Those with play passes are encouraged to use theirs before then, or possibly share them with others. She did note that this isn’t the end, and there could very well be a version of it brought back in the future.

They’ll certainly be missed. I know my daughter has been there plenty of times and always had a great time.
