Last year, Magic Wok celebrated their 40th year serving customers in Wichita. And now in 2022, this very well could be the final year. The Chinese restaurant at 9504 W Central Ave is planning to close later this year.
With the head chef looking to retire and another cook looking to leave, owner Mary Weinman has also decided it’s time to put the business up for sale. If no owner could be found, Weinman believes it’s best to close Magic Wok.
She’s hoping to make it through the end of the year if she can find some reliable help, but as we all know that’s an issue that’s plagued restaurants.
If you know of anybody looking to buy and take over a restaurant, give them a call at 316-722-5528. Otherwise, be sure to show them some love this year, as this could be your final time dining at Magic Wok.
