Many people may not know that Tilie’s is family owned and operated for over 145 years. Not only are you supporting local, but you can have them delivered local anywhere. They will deliver flowers to the entire Wichita metro area, including Augusta, Andover, Bel Aire, Goddard, Derby, Haysville, Kechi, Mulvane, Maize, Park City, Rose Hill and Valley Center. If your apology, thank you, I love you or any other occasion needs to be sent outside the Wichita area, they can also have your gift sent anywhere across the nation.

I’ve spent a lot of money there over the decades that probably could have been saved had I swallowed my pride and just listened from the start, but I got to support local and someone always received flowers. So, it’s a win win all around! I call it turning lemons into lemonade!

It’s one of the few places in town that I can call and get gerbera daisies on a moments notice. Since I’m a guy, I’m sure I’ll be spending more money there over the years.

Tillie’s Flower Shop is located at 3701 E. Harry. The store is open from Monday to Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They do have a location at 715 N. West Street, but that is temporarily closed. For more information, check them out on Facebook or visit their website.
