For whatever reason, there have been many Vietnamese restaurants that have closed over the years. Many of them have been longtime favorites like Thao’s Bistro, My Tho, and Pho Hien. That has left the door open for others to step up and in that time, Pho KC has been one of my go-to spots.

They are located at 4875 E. Pawnee. Since they’ve opened, I’ve been a good handful of times. Most recently, I invited many family members out with me to give it a try for the New Year. We ordered so many items from the menu that I didn’t get everybody’s opinion, but I did get some pictures from our group of 12!
My family did a great job of ordering a good sample size of the menu. We had bun, bún bò huế, assorted noodle and rice dishes, appetizers, and of course, pho.
My choice for dinner was pho because it was cold that particular evening and it’s in the name of the restaurant. I’ve said it many times on social, Pho KC has one of my top three favorite pho offerings in Wichita. I loved the rich and flavorful broth which filled me up quickly despite the healthy portion of noodles, rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe and meatballs that was like a never-ending bowl of food. With each visit, my love for Pho KC continues to grow.
On top of that, my family had a great time and enjoyed the food. The service has also picked up from previous visits, which was another positive.
If you too have lost out on one of your favorite Vietnamese restaurants, be sure to give Pho KC a try.
Here’s their menu:
Happy Dining,
