A new Chinese restaurant specializing in Cantonese, Hunan and Szechuan style cuisine is opening to the public this Thursday, March 17. People have noticed the signage for Hong Kong Express and with that messages have poured in inquiring about them. I was finally able to confirm their opening with owners this week.
Hong Kong Express is located at 7900 E. Harry St. which is at the southwest corner of Harry and Rock. It’s a quick-service restaurant that offers dine-in and carryout.
Once they are open, people can order online at www.hongkongexpresswichita.com. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday; then 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and Noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays. Lunch specials will be available from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
