Popular Wichita buffet restaurant, Caesar’s Table, is on the move this summer

Have you ever been to Caesar’s Table at 125 N. Market?

They are a restaurant with a daily buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday through Friday. They serve homemade comfort food in a full buffet style. You’ll find such items as coconut fried catfish, fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans and steamed vegetables. In addition, we provide a fresh salad bar, daily features and a delicious selection of desserts. Oh, and they carry Dorothy Lynch’s homestyle dressing…. my favorite!

If you’re a fan or have never been, you’ll want to take note of this. They are the move. Caesar’s Table will relocate in early summer 2022. They will soon take over the cafe space in the Meritrust Center at 151 N. Main, which is the intersection of 1st and Main street. You’ll be able to find them at the northeast side of the center.

The eatery is owned and operated by Sam Kuns, who has been a part of the downtown Wichita food scene since 2015.

In a press release, James Nastars, Meritrust President/CEO said, “We’re thrilled to be welcoming Caesar’s Table to Meritrust Center. It’s an opportunity to collaborate with a popular downtown business and provide a convenient meal option for our employees and the local community as well. It’s definitely a win-win.”

The corporate headquarters building houses nearly 270 employees on top of all the businesses nearby, which makes for a nice pool of potential customers for Caesar’s Table.

“We’re looking forward to partnering with Meritrust as we finalize our plans for the transition to our new location,” says Kuns. “We appreciate the support of the downtown community over the years and will keep our longtime customers updated along the way.”

Stay tuned for our first look at their new space.
