Tacos tj 664 is expanding to northeast Wichita

For as many restaurants as the northeast part of Wichita has, there just isn’t a big influx of places to get a good ol’ fashioned street tacos. And one of the city’s most popular restaurants for that is Tacos tj 664 located at 1014 N West St. Known for their Tijuana style tacos and inventive creations like bacon wrapped burritos and birria pizza, it’s no secret they’ve been looking to expand out east.

I’m being told things are starting to take shape for their second location. The former Emperor’s Grill space at 3526 N. Rock Road has set vacant for quite some time. It looks as though Tacos tj 664 will be taking over the space.

From what I’m hearing, they are aiming for a May opening. That’s all I know for now, but this is a big get for northeast Wichita.

Anything can happen between now and May, but that’s currently the word on the street, so to speak. I’ll share more in the coming months, but until then, be sure to follow Tacos tj 664 on Facebook for more.
