The festivals around town look to be returning this year and one of them is I Got Sole, a sneaker fest that will be taking place Saturday, April 23 at Chicken N Pickle.
The event will take place from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. inside the Be Amazing event room. Admission is free for attendees, and vendor spaces are currently available through www.ictgotsole.com.
I Got Sole is a sneaker trade show in its 12th year that celebrates the love for sneakers, streetwear, vintage clothing and collectible accessories in a fun, festive format.
The event provides a platform for sneaker enthusiasts and simply anybody who loves a good vendor market to buy, sell, and trade sneakers with each other, while displaying their cool collections. Street wear brands showcase their unique merchandise, while vintage collectors display and sell coveted and rare pieces.
A big part of I Got Sole is their annual sock drive, which over the years has become an important aspect of the event. Attendees are encouraged to donate two pairs of new or unworn socks in exchange for a ticket that allows them to enter a raffle for a highly coveted pair of sneakers. All socks collected are then donated to a local shelter in the Wichita, KS area. In past years, socks have been donated to the Wichita Children’s Home.
There are limited vendor spaces open. For more, visit www.ictgotsole.com or check them out on Facebook.
