Exploration Place Exhibit
Health Inside Out
A new permanent exhibit at Exploration Place opens to the public today. It’s called Health Inside Out and it encourages health education and health care workforce development. What’s best about it is the entire exhibit is very interactive and fun for the whole family. Kids of all ages will find something they enjoy.
Health Inside Out was supposed to open earlier, but like all things, the pandemic pushed those plans. It was all for the best, though, as this was a great time to unveil the new exhibit. It’s the first thing you see as you make your way inside the science museum.
There are 16 hands-on interactive games and displays within Health Inside Out. Such fun experiences included a Skeleton Mirror that gave you an augmented reality of your skeleton, life-size Operation just like the classic board game, Skee-Ball, and more.
Health Inside Out is included in the Exploration Place admission, which is $11.50 for adults 12-64, $10 for seniors 65+, $8 for youth 3-11 and free for children 2 and under.
Exploration Place is located at 300 N McLean Blvd, which is on the west side of the Arkansas River in the Delano neighborhood of Wichita. To learn more about their new exhibit, visit their webpage or Facebook page.
