A new restaurant and venue space has opened called Big Arbor which took over the nightclub, Tarragon’s, at 4311 W. Central Avenue. The restaurant opened almost a month ago for delivery and carryout. I first saw them on the Wichita Reddit advertising their business, but waited a few weeks to stop by. Since then, they are now open for dine-in.

Inside there were some pool tables, arcade games and more for entertainment. I liked what they did with the place, adding in soft green accents all around with plenty of seating.
Currently, Big Arbor sells burgers, so I asked which one they recommend. They suggested the Black Pepper Sauce Bacon Cheeseburger which came with grilled red onions smothered in hand made black pepper sauce, 2 pieces of bacon with thick hand sliced Swiss and sauteed mushrooms, served on a toasted artisan bun. I also ordered a cheeseburger. Both came with a pickle and chips.
We finished the burgers rather quickly. Both were very satisfying and worthwhile meals. They weren’t overly greasy, but not super juicy either; just somewhere in the middle. We didn’t think they are top ten burgers, but that’s not a knock on Big Arbor; it just speaks to the competitive burger scene in town. I particularly really enjoyed the Black Pepper Sauce Bacon Cheeseburger and would recommend that to anybody. All in all, they were good burgers and something we wouldn’t mind getting again if we were in the area.

And since their menu didn’t have prices, I went to their online ordering site and grabbed this:
