You’ve probably heard it by now, The Artichoke Sandwichbar has their own food truck. The mobile operations made their debut at a food truck party in April and has another outing scheduled soon. When we heard the news of the debut, we made sure to clear our calendars to stop by.

The food truck will typically carry around five of the ‘Choke’s popular sandwiches. Of course, I had to go with the Famous #8. It felt like the right thing to do on the truck’s first day out.
What is there to be said about one of the most popular sandwiches in town? It was prepared just like at the restaurant with turkey, bacon, Swiss and cream cheese, lettuce and tomato, grilled on an onion hoagie, topped with Italian dressing and Parmesan cheese.
Don’t get me wrong, there are some great sandwich offerings from our local food truck scene, but this one just might take the cake.
Next time, I’m going to have to go with the Twisted Seester.
