The newest food truck park opened at 220 S. Handley. The Delano Food Truck Court, which is a couple of blocks west of Riverfront Stadium, kicked things off with a rally hosted by Funky Monkey Munchies. Dubbed Night In Delano, there were over a dozen food trucks that covered the perimeter of the big parking lot.
The Delano Food Truck Court is the latest place for food trucks. The area may be familiar to some as it’s the Hope Christian Church lot.
We took the family for a night of food trucking. There were plenty of folding tables and chairs for visitors. Others brought lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Even Mother Nature and her windy attitude couldn’t stop people from leaving the house to enjoy the evening.
Between the six of us, we stopped by Urban Skillet, Noble House, Primos Food Truck, and The Shake Truck.
The area was spacious and they had music playing all evening. I’ll miss having the event at the WaterWalk, but this was a very viable alternative.
