Two huge food truck rallies are set for this weekend

It’s a huge weekend for food trucks. On top of the regular trucks that are parked at The Truck Stop on Friday and Saturday, there are two food truck rallies taking place over the weekend. Both events read like a who’s who of food trucks along with many up-and-comers.

Friday’s Food Truck Rally

On Friday, April 15, it’s the first Night In Delano food truck rally at the new Delano Food Truck Court at 220 S. Handley, just a couple blocks west of Riverfront Stadium. This event, which runs from 6 to 9 p.m. replaces the former Night at the Fountains event.

The trucks you can expect to see on-hand include:

  • Funky Monkey Munchies
  • Cousin Hectors
  • Brazita Bites
  • Ken N Barbiez Rollin Diner
  • Smokin Diner
  • Brown Box Bakery
  • The Shake Truck
  • Snack Shack
  • U-Hungry Food Truck
  • Noble House
  • The Berg’ Shave Ice

Saturday’s Food Truck Party

The second takes place on Saturday, April 16 from 5 to 8 p.m at The Fusion Restaurant, located at 1812 W. Douglas. Music will be provided by DJ O.G.P, there will be an Easter egg hunt and games, and there will be a raffle. If you drop off a snack (crackers, fruit cups, peanut butter) of First-Aid items (band-aids, peroxide, Neosporin, etc.) to any food truck, you will be entered into a drawing for gift certificates. All donations will go to the ICT Street Team. Inside dining will also be provided by The Fusion.

Another tidbit that may excite some people is this event will be the debut of The Artichoke food truck. Here are the food trucks scheduled for the event:

  • The Artichoke
  • Ken N Barbiez Rollin Diner
  • Smokin Diner
  • Urban Skillet
  • Taters N Toppings
  • Big Granny’s
  • The Big Nerd
  • The Shake Truck
  • Vella’s Exotic Egg Rolls
  • Noble House
  • Big B’s Beef
  • U-Hungry

As always, you can check ICTFoodTrucks.com for a list of where food trucks will be parked all over town.

Happy Dining,
Eddy
