While traveling, I had to grab a bite to eat at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. After seeing what places were in the terminal closest to me, I wanted to choose a restaurant I’ve never been to. That brought me to Grindhouse Killer Burgers.
The local fast-food chain is based out of Atlanta and promotes, Live Fast, Eat Well. Well, they got the food out fast, but we didn’t eat well.
For our meal, we had an Apache Burger which came with New Mexico green chiles, lettuce, grilled onions, tortilla strips and Pepper Jack cheese. Then we had a build-your-own double patty burger with all the fixings. For our side, we split an order of crinkle cut fries.
The burgers were about as bland as you could get. There wasn’t a hint of seasoning, salt, pepper, even the green chile didn’t have any flavor. At one point, it was as if we were eating water-flavored burgers. Grindhouse Killer Burgers made McDonald’s look like a 4-star Michelin restaurant.
Never again.
