When I made the trek to El Dorado, one of the most recommended places was Hampton’s Restaurant. I was told the veal sandwich was the go-to dish. I obliged and was glad because it was fantastic.
Located at 117 W 2nd Ave, I remember the carryout crowd being popular as the interior didn’t provide much seating. People kept coming in left and right. Well, after four years in business, owners have made the sudden decision to close the restaurant.
The announcement was made Monday afternoon. In the statement, they noted they were presented with an opportunity in a new industry. So on the bright side, at least the restaurant didn’t close for negative reasons. While they are closed, they are actively looking for new owners.
