I recently attended a wedding at the Wichita Brewing Company Event Venue. Writing this wasn’t planned. But once I started looking around and watching the staff, I was quite impressed with the work and figured why not give them a nod?

Wichita Brewing Company Event Venue is located 6160 E. Central. I’ve been there before for some corporate events, but never a formal situation like a wedding.

Inside there’s a wood fire oven where they made pizzas on the spot, but we’ll save that for later.

After the wedding was over, which by the way was beautiful, the staff went to work at getting the food out. They had an appetizer spread of meatballs, salads, jalapeno poppers and more. The meatballs alone would have left me satisfied.

But then, things got even better. The oven was fired up and they started preparing pizzas the rest of the night. They had I believe 4-5 different pizzas spread out, and they didn’t stop until people decided to stop eating. There may have been more pizzas, but soon after, my focus went to the drinks and music.

I wish I took more pictures because they had the bar open and the staff working the bar were fantastic. They did such an impressive job all evening long and made the night a magical and memorable one for my friends who said their “I Do’s”.

As an ordained minister (14 ceremonies to be exact), I’ve seen my fair share of weddings. The staff who work behind the scenes often get overlooked and this time, I didn’t want to let that happen. Congrats to the people at Wichita Brewing Company Event Venue.
