■ 2022 Asian Night Market | May 28
Where: Naftgzer Park
The Asian Night Market is inspired by the late night bazaars of Asia, where people come together to enjoy the many local eats, drinks, and arts of Asian cuisine, socialize and experience a new night time entertainment that downtown Wichita hasn’t seen. The Asian Night Market aims to unite and empower the community by serving as a platform for showcasing local talent including performers, chefs, entrepreneurs, and fun for all ages.

■ Mall Mania | May 27
Where: Towne West Square
Organized by OpenStudios, MALL MANIA aims to celebrate Wichita culture with a FREE, all-ages concert at Towne West Mall. Local artists will be selling their personal artwork to the tune of iconic Wichita bands The Cavves, Old News, TF Bundy, and BottleCap DayDream. Mall Mania will start at 6PM on Final Friday, May 27th, in Towne West Square near Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Where: Odd Fellow Hall
Join us for Adult Night every Friday! Must be 21 with a Valid ID. $10 Cover (skates included). Beer & mixed drinks available.

■ Night of the Living Jedd | May 28
Where: The Orpheum Theatre
The Orpheum Theatre is partnering with KMUW 89.1 FM to present a benefit concert for Jedd Beaudoin and his family after they lost their home in a devastating fire two weeks ago. Night of the Living Jedd: A Beaudoin Family Benefit features performances by Rudy Love Jr., Quiett & Walker with special guest Dustin Arbuckle, and The Cavves.

Weekly destination for thousands of area residents and a must-see for visitors to the city. More than a Farmers Market. Celebrating over 30 years as Wichita’s downtown Farm & Art Market. – Food, arts, entertainment, shopping, and so much more.

■ Kansas Grown Farmer’s Market | May 28
Where: Two Locations: 21st & Ridge and Derby Market

■ Douglas Social Club Grand Opening | May 28
Where: Douglas Social Club
We are so happy with the response from the community that we wanted to throw ya a party! Join us for our OFFICIAL grand opening on May 28th! We’re grilling up free food in the afternoon and will have Mamcitas tacos there for the rest of the evening. DJ for the Win spinning the beats all night long!

■ Candlelight Vigil for Uvalde | May 29
Where: Norton’s Brewing Company
Join us on Sunday night to pay our respects to the victims and affected families of the Robb Elementary School shooting in Uvalde, TX. We will provide candles and supplies to make signs. Sign making will start at 9, and then we’ll walk together to Naftzger Park to have a moment of silence and space for community members to speak.

■ Food Truck Fiesta | May 29
Where: El Puerto Restaurant
Check out 8 food trucks, listen to DJ Torres and enjoy the afternoon at El Puerto for some delicious fun.

The Wichita River Festival Kicks Off

■ ICT Drone Show | June 4-5
Where: Exploration Place
Wichita’s first drone light show is coming to Exploration Place on the opening weekend of Riverfest, June 4 & 5, 2022. Known as “the fireworks of the future,” the show will provide breathtaking views of 200 synchronized drones, fully choreographed with music.

■ Wichita Taco Fest | June 25
Where: Capitol Federal Amphitheater
The Wichita Taco Festival is a unique & dynamic one day family event that will fuse together Wichita’s love for tacos, margaritas & live music.
