The newest cafe has opened at 6120 W. Central Ave, called Sunflour Cafe & Collective. They specialize in vegan and gluten-free food, while also serving as a collective marketplace for local products.

Sunflower Cafe & Collective has a full menu of food that consists of salad, pizza, sandwiches and more. There’s also a wide selection of drinks such as coffee, tea, smoothies and Italian sodas.
Don’t let the place fool you to think it’s just a cafe, nor do they only serve Vegan and gluten-free food. There’s so much more. The marketplace also serves as a retail spot for many local producers of goods whether it’s desserts, jewelry, salsas, sauces, art, you name it. Here’s a glimpse inside the retail space.
Many local vendors I’ve seen around farmers markets and other stores that sell local goods can be found here.
Of course, I couldn’t leave without picking up a few goodies. My haul included some cookies from Leah’s Bakery, EXTRAordinary Cheesecakes, and a strawberry shortcake smoothie that really hit the spot.
I’ll be returning soon because next month Soft Swerve Creamery who sells Vegan soft serve will make their debut at Sunflour.
