You only have until Sunday at 6 p.m. to get your hands on the Ramen Spring Rolls at Rice & Roll by Xing Xing at 1920 E. Pawnee.
As you can guess by the name of the dish, these spring rolls are made with ramen instead of the traditional rice noodles. They come in three for $6.99 with your choice of protein: shrimp, pork, tofu, or meatballs.
I picked up six spring rolls with a mix of shrimp and pork. I can tell you right now, the pork ones were larger than many spring rolls I’ve seen around some local Vietnamese restaurants.
They were definitely worth it and delicious. The ramen gave a richer flavor than what the vermicelli noodles provide. They went great with either the peanut sauce or sweet chili sauce that came with the spring rolls.
I purchased some extras to take home to share with family, and it was no surprise they loved it as well. Get these while you can.
