Bad news for our local dining scene; Wichita Subs & More has closed.
The dedicated Philly cheesesteak restaurant at 2251 E. 21st St. originally opened in October 2020. After nearly two years, they have now closed. Owners cited staffing issues, rising food costs and increased rent as their reasons.
It’s another blow to our food scene which has lost other restaurants focused on niche dishes such as Sorrel’s Jamaican Restaurant and, soon to be, Sharon’s Place in Derby.
Now where will people go for a good Philly cheesesteak?
