We originally broke the story back in May about Maple Street Pizza Company opening at 12111 W. Maple Street in the former Kanai and Lilikoi Asian Bistro space.
The owner of Twelve Restaurant & Bar Bryce Kuhn and his wife, Toi, have spent the last few months prepping the space for a new wood-fired oven pizza restaurant and they are almost ready to show the public.
On Monday, August 22, Maple Street Pizza Company will officially be open to the public. Their hours of operation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday only for the first week. Starting August 29, they will start opening at 11 a.m. for lunch and close at 9 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and closed on Sunday.
This is pretty exciting news as the new pizza place could end up being a great date night option with sangria and wine on tap, craft beers and cocktails; all which will pair well with their 12-inch pizzas. The drive-thru which was never used by the previous restaurants will be finally accessible for carryout orders as well.
The area of Maple and 119th is pretty limited when it comes to local dining. So, this should be a very welcome addition to the neighborhoods surrounding the area.
Stay tuned for a sneak peek at Maple Street Pizza Company in the coming week. Until then, here’s a look at their menu:
Happy Dining,
Eddy
