It’s been quite the five-year run for Vietnom Nom. The Vietnamese restaurant serving traditional and fusion dishes, located at 8641 W. 13th Street, has announced they will close in September. They haven’t announced an exact date, but wanted to give fans a last chance to get their fill of Vietnom Nom dishes.
Between staffing challenges and the desire to balance family life, they have decided not to renew their lease. If you’ve ever been there, chances are you’ve seen owner, Huyvu Nguyen working there. I have never been by when he’s not there and have had chats with him about the many hours he’s put into the restaurant.
Currently, they are looking for someone to take over Vietnom Nom, but if they can’t, then September will be the last month for the restaurant. Anybody interested can contact them 316-207-4512.
This is also your last reminder to try their Go Pho Yourself challenge.
