After roughly a year and a half in business, Slider Shak has closed down. The restaurant which sold different types of sliders opened in early 2021 at 4628 S. Seneca.
Owner Craig Bauer made the announcement on the restaurant’s Facebook page. He noted lack of sales as the reason. He mentioned that choosing a south Seneca location was his fault, which could be a reason for the low business.
The building has seen its fair share of restaurants such as Sweet Willy’s BBQ, Big B’s Beef, Burger Basket, Sonny’s Backyard Grill, Jalapeno Mexican Grill, Fire It Up Pit BBQ and right before Slider Shak there was Roselynn’s.
Bauer said that, “Slider Shak’s concept, food and labor cost is pretty much spot on.”
He will continue to evaluate other locations options as they become available, so this may not be the final chapter for Slider Shak. Should they move to a new space, I’ll be sure to pass on the details.
