Anybody else remember going to McDonald’s as a kid and getting a Halloween Happy Meal Pail? It’s been years since they’ve been available, but coming this October, they are back.
The Halloween pails made their first appearance at McDonald’s 36 years ago. There were three available every year, and I remember begging my parents to take me. I always wanted the orange ones.
Now that I have a daughter, it’s a great excuse to go back and collect all three again.
Sources have confirmed with me, they will be in Wichita. The corporate site lists October 18 as the day.
I’ll be sure to pass along the day they are out if they do come to Wichita. If so, I’ll be buying them. Not entirely sure, my daughter will be using them during trick-or-treating. If anything, she’ll use them to tote her Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol toys around the house.
