G1 Sports & Entertainment announced that Wichita will host an NHL Preseason Game on September 24, 2022. The Arizona Coyotes and St. Louis Blues will face off at INTRUST Bank Arena in the first-ever NHL game in the city of Wichita.
■ Prairieland Beer & Music Festival | September 24

After a 2 year hiatus, Prairieland is BACK! ~Hosted by the Kansas Craft Brewers Guild~ Come enjoy unlimited samples of 100+ beers with 40+ breweries from Kansas and beyond, featuring LIVE music throughout the festival. This year the festival will be held under the shade of old growth trees in Hyde Park.
■ Frontiers in Flight: McConnell Air Force Base Open House & Air Show | September 24
Where: McConnell Air Force Base
McConnell Air Force Base is opening its gates to the public during the Frontiers in Flight Open House and Airshow, September 24-25, 2022! Come and see how Team McConnell contributes to the Air Capital of the World as the true Home of Air Refueling. The base will be open to the public and the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds are scheduled to perform. Admission is completely FREE to the public!

Where: Old Cowtown Museum
The largest gathering of old west historical reenactors in the region! Come see historical legends doing presentations, gunfights, saloon girls, gambling, vendor shopping, beer garden, and more! This is a fundraiser for Historic Wichita Cowtown, Inc., the non-profit that helps to support Old Cowtown Museum!
■ 12th Annual Concert in the Country | September 24
Where: Wichita Union Stockyards
The largest fundraiser for Wichita non-profit Coming Together for a Cure, which helps people with Muscular Dystrophy and other rare diseases access stem cell therapy. Attendees will enjoy: Live music, food trucks, yard games, dance floor, full bar, a silent auction, and a raffle.

The IMA Foundation is gearing up for its annual fundraising event, “Wichita Pickle Jam,” at Chicken N Pickle to benefit Wichita Children’s Home and other local non-profit organizations. On September 29th, they’ll host an unforgettable day of doubles pickleball. Teams and attendees will enjoy food, drinks, live music, and an intense pickleball competition! Pickle Jam will also feature a recreational cornhole tournament.
