Wichita Pickle Jam | September 29
Where: Chicken N Pickle
The IMA Foundation is gearing up for its annual fundraising event, “Wichita Pickle Jam,” at Chicken N Pickle to benefit Wichita Children’s Home and other local non-profit organizations. On September 29th, they’ll host an unforgettable day of doubles pickleball. Teams and attendees will enjoy food, drinks, live music, and an intense pickleball competition! Pickle Jam will also feature a recreational cornhole tournament.

Greater Andover Days | September 30-October 2
Where: Andover, KS
Resilience. Strength. Community. Three words the Andover community has been no stranger to over the last few months. In April, many members of the Andover community were affected and impacted by the tornado. Neighbors and surrounding communities continued to stand together with Andover. We cannot wait to come together to celebrate all the community has done over the last several months at the Greater Andover Days this fall.

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

Woofstock 2022 | October 1
Sedgwick County Park
Gather with thousands of fellow pet owners and animal enthusiasts for Kansas Humane Society’s fundraising event and festival “Woofstock”, which has become one of the largest events of its kind in the midwest. Participate in the Woof Walk & Breakfast, listen to live music from Dangie Music & Tequila Ridge, compete in stage contests, hang out at the beer garden, shop at vendor booths, and chow down at the food trucks. Check out activities like ruff races, doggy agility course, kid’s play clinic, photobooth, live demos from the WPD’s K-9 Unit, and more!

Kansas Grown Farmer’s Market | October 1

Wichita Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cook Off | October 1
Where: Downtown Wichita
With teams from Kansas and surrounding states (80 teams or so!), the Wichita Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cookoff has been a Wichita tradition for over 30 years. Since 2005 when the Wagonmasters took over the event and brought it back Downtown, the event has exploded with a renewed level of enthusiasm by contestants and attendees alike.

Don your tin foil hats and guard your thoughts! Curtis The Mentalist is in town! The Mastermind Show with comedy Mind Reader Curtis Waltermire is the most unique LIVE comedy show that plays monthly at the Loony Bin Comedy Club.

4th Annual Bravery Ball | October 1
Where: Orpheum Theatre
Join WLH for a night of dinner, drinks, auctions, dancing and fun! Bravery Ball raises critical funds to support over 500 Kansas families with children battling life-threatening medical conditions.
