It’s back! The Wichita Wagonmasters Downtown Chili Cook-off returns this Saturday, October 1. It’s probably one of, if not single, the biggest foodie event of the year that packs downtown Wichita.
On Saturday, starting at noon, you can get a tasting kit for just $5. Where else can you get all the chili your body can handle from multiple different vendors at that low of a price?
In past years, the cookoff has brought crowds of around 9,000 chili lovers and people who just love to be outside and enjoying Wichita.
The event also includes live entertainment and a 50/50 raffle where the winner gets 50% of the total pot and the other half goes to the Good Life Grant that directly benefits local Wichita charities.
