Wild Lights at the Sedgwick County Zoo
The latest attraction at Sedgwick County Zoo starts Friday, Sept.30 called Wild Lights. Open every Wednesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., this one-of-a-kind Asian Lantern sculpture gives people a chance to stroll the evening under the stars.
The larger-than-life sculptures are spread throughout the zoo, giving attendees a path illuminated by the cool creatures.
This is best viewed when the sun goes down so you can get the best experience possible.
If you stopped by last year, don’t fret. The sculptures are entirely different, giving the whole experience a fresh look.
Tickets are now available starting at $15 and can be found at SCZ.org.
And if you get hungry, The Beastro is open. They even have a Wild Lights special menu that features alcoholic drinks, cookies, and a puppy chow sundae.
Remember, Wild Lights is a ticketed event. You can purchase your tickets online or at the box office. They run anywhere between $15-17 a person, with discounts available when buying in a family four-pack. You have until December 4!
The Sedgwick County Zoo is located at 5555 W Zoo Blvd. For more information on the exhibit, visit their webpage or Facebook.
