There’s been a slew of closings in the Wichita area. Let’s get to it.
The BBQ restaurant in Park City, Ray’s Food Express at 1542 East 61st St. N has closed. Pictures were coming in online that showed seizure signs on the doors. Since then, the restaurant was marked as temporarily closed on their Google listing and their Facebook page has been taken down.
The space is now for available for lease. Anybody interested in a turnkey operation can reach out to Miles Osborne with NAI Martens at 316-928-8613.
Earlier this month, Freezing Moo at 2755 N. Maize Road closed down. That leaves Wichita with just one location at 2684 N. Greenwich Road.
Like the frozen yogurt fad, at one time, there were quite a few rolled ice cream places to visit and that’s since dwindled.
Rumor has it that Crumbl Cookies will be taking over the west side Freezing Moo space.
The final Logan’s Roadhouse at 2424 N. Maize Road has permanently closed.
It’s been marked as permanently closed on their Google listing, and all mentions of Wichita have been taken down from their corporate site.
Tacos La Catrina has closed after less than a year in business at 3090 W. 13th St.
The space which has held many restaurants over the years didn’t take long to find someone new. A new restaurant called Gorditas Rodeo has taken over and just opened earlier this month.
