We’re back with Pumpkins at the Park!🎃 That’s right – Pumpkins at the Park, Wichita’s largest Halloween event, returns this year for a spooky good time for the entire family EVERY Saturday in October from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm. Come celebrate the fall season and get into the Halloween spirit with us. With five nights of fun, you’ll have more days to fit into your busy schedule! From toddlers to grandparents and everyone in between, we’ve got fun for everyone this Halloween!

1 Million Cups is a free, weekly national program designed to educate, engage, and connect entrepreneurs. Every Wednesday morning at 8:45 a.m., one or two early-stage startups present their companies to a diverse audience of their peers, mentors, educators, and advisors.

■ Holiday Galleria | October 6-9
Where: Century II
Holiday Galleria: A Day of Shopping, A Year of Giving is Junior League of Wichita’s annual upscale shopping event featuring more than 120 regional and national merchants. The 18th annual Holiday Galleria is scheduled for October 6-8, 2022 at Century II Expo Hall in downtown Wichita, Kansas. The objective of Holiday Galleria is to raise funds to fulfill Junior League of Wichita’s goal of building a better community. We would like to thank the sponsors, both past and present, who helped us to raise net proceeds of more than $1.6 million in our first 16 years.

Where: Envision Art Gallery
The Envision Arts Gallery & Community Engagement Center is proud to welcome Envision Arts participant Patrick McCowan in his solo exhibition titled [AU][TUHM]. Experience Patrick’s exhibition inspired by his favorite season Autumn. Patrick has dedicated his studio practice at Envision Arts to exploring two-dimensional spatial relationships using stickers of all varieties, while pushing three-dimensional boundaries as he layers, stacks, and creates different forms on paper, found objects, and more.

Wichita’s Union Station will be transformed into a Biergarten featuring live music, food, games, and of course – BIER! Our tap trucks will be loaded with an amazing selection of local, regional, and German beers.

Where: Old Cowtown Museum

■ Smoothie King Grand Opening Celebration | October 8
Where: Smoothie King (Greenwich Ct)
Smoothie King will host a grand opening celebration for the local community on Saturday, October 8 with giveaways and specials. This will include: – 10 lucky guests will be randomly selected to win free smoothies for a year. – Free 20 oz. smoothie for new guests on the Smoothie King app – Free samples for guests to try Smoothie King’s purpose-driven smoothies. – Additional giveaways and prizes throughout Smoothie King’s grand opening celebration.

■ St. George Orthodox Cathedral Lebanese Dinner | October 8-9
Where: St. George Orthodox Cathedral
4 course dinner includes traditional Lebanese cuisine featuring Cabbage Rolls, Ruz and Yuknee (Rice and Green Beans), Kibbe, Salad, Pita Bread, and Baklawa for dessert. We will be open for dine in and cathedral tours. Or guests can take hot meals to-go. The Country Kitchen will be stocked with homemade goods and Mediterranean favorites. ■ Pop Up Taco Event with Chef Tom to benefit ShowerUp | October 8
Where: All Things BBQ
Join us for a Taco Pop-Up with Chef Tom as part of the Fall Sleeping Bag Fundraiser to raise money for ShowerUp, a non-profit organization that serves those experiencing homelessness with mobile shower units. Chef Tom will cook up two kinds of tacos, Pork al Pastor and Birria Quesatacos, from 12 pm to 2 pm. $7 per taco goes straight to ShowerUp. OR bring a new sleeping bag in exchange for tacos!

■ Family Jam Fest | October 8
Where: Child Start
Join Child Start at the 2nd Annual Family Jam Fest! A family-friendly, mini music festival for families with young children. The Family Jam Fest will be complete with clowns/entertainers, musical acts, food trucks, and booths for local businesses and vendors. Guaranteed fun, while raising awareness of the importance of quality early care and education for all children!!

■ Public at the Brickyard Tenth Anniversary Street Party | October 8

Join us for a street party celebrating our Tenth Anniversary! We’ll be closing down Rock Island and setting up a special stage in our alleyway with music from the Josue Estrada Band and more. Plus– local farmers and vendors selling their wares, food trucks and foodie collaborations.

Tracy Byrd and full band will be at the Wichita Union Stockyards on Saturday, October 22, 2022. He has charted more than thirty hit singles in his career.
