7 Things To Expect at Shop & Grub’s Holiday Edition at Exploration Place

The next installment of the monthly vendor market, Shop & Grub, takes place Sunday, November 20 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Here are seven things to expect at this monthly market featuring a unique variety of vendors selling vintage clothing, art, jewelry, accessories, home goods, wine, delicious food and more.

1.) Exploration Place

While Shop & Grub has historically taken place at Naftzger Park, there will be a venue change for the holiday edition. The vendor market is taking place at Exploration Place, outside on the Festival Plaza.

2.) Free Entry

Many vendor markets and bazaars do charge a fee for entry. That’s not the case for Shop & Grub which is free to attend.

3.) More Freebies

There will be complimentary items given out to those who show up earlier.

Beyond Legend Coffee will be giving away small coffee bags to the first 50 market attendees that stop by their booth. They will also have coffee on tap while supplies last to keep everyone warm.

Roxies on the River is giving away 50 of her award winning cinnamon rolls to the first 50 market attendees that stop by her truck.

Esperanza Coffee Roasters will be giving away complimentary cups of coffee to the first 50 market attendees that stop by their booth.

4.) Music

You don’t have to worry about shopping in silence. DJ Magnum & Marcobiotics will be on hand to provide you some vibes to keep you in that holiday shopping mindset.

5.) The Food

Obviously for me, the biggest thing I pay attention to for any event is what’s on the menu when it comes to food. The vendor listing is very exciting as they feature many I have yet to try like Mi Sueno, Waffles N Stuff and Rose Petal Pastries. Meanwhile, there are also some exciting places I’ve tried like Mi No Bakery, Roxie’s on the River, and Big Granny’s.

7.) The Final Market of the Year

If you’re a big fan of Shop & Grub, you’ll want to stop by simply because this is the final one of the year before it returns next spring.
