I haven’t been able to confirm it with anybody in Wichita, but according to their corporate website, KPot Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is looking to make its mark in Wichita.
KPot, an all-you-can-eat restaurant chain, has listed that they plan to open at 7700 E. Kellogg Dr. which is the address for Towne East Square. No word on where this could be within the mall and could be a part of the upcoming Towne East renovation.
The restaurant company describes itself as “a unique, hands-on, all-you-can-eat experience that merges traditional Asian hot pot with Korean BBQ flavors.” I’ve reached out to their corporate office and have yet to hear back on the Wichita location.
KPot’s menu features barbecue, including spicy beef, spicy pork and spicy calamari; hot pots with cuts of pork, chicken, beef, pork belly and lamb; as well as sides that include shrimp dumplings, Spam, fish cakes, lobster balls, vegetables, and noodles.
Another nearby location is planned for Overland Park, KS.
When I hear more or am able to confirm the news and a date with anybody local, I’ll be sure to pass it on.
