A Pane in the Glass ICT

Sometimes it’s weird how life works. One day, we were at home and Megan goes, “We need to get our windows cleaned.” I’ll be honest, I’ve never had my windows cleaned before. I always thought that’s what the rain was for. And if bird poop got on the windows and didn’t come off, then it was meant to be. Regardless, I added window washing on my daddy to-do list.

You know how you say something and then it shows up on your Facebook feed? A real life version of that took place. Literally, the next day, I was driving home and saw a couple of guys washing windows a few houses down from my house. Their business was called A Pane in the Glass ICT and they specialized in window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing and holiday lights. This had to be a sign.

So, I stopped my car and walked over to the guys. The first question that came out of my mouth was literally the dumbest question ever, “Do you guys wash windows?”.

If I was answering the question in front of my truck that said I did, I’d respond, “No idiot, we are the Wet Bandits and just here to scope out a house for the holidays.”But they were super polite and said they did. I asked them if they had time to give me a quote on my house, a couple of houses down the street. They were getting ready to hang some lights on another neighbor’s house and said they would.

They got my number and would send me a quote over the phone. That same time, they even scheduled a time to come out and clean.

On the day of the cleaning, their tech, came out to handle the cleaning. He took around 4-5 hours to do the entire interior and exterior of our house. He was very meticulous and thorough from start to finish. On top of that, he was very kind, polite, and professional. We had lots of hard water stains on random windows and he took his time to clean them all out.

We were extremely pleased with the finished product. I’d certainly recommend them to anyone needing a cleaning. Besides a witty name, they are locally owned and not some big box company that tries to get in and out super quick.

Now, fast-forward six months later and we noticed a forest growing in our gutters. I remember seeing gutter cleaning on A Pane In The Glass’ truck so I gave them a ring again. Two days later, they came out and knocked off another task on my daddy-to-do-list making me look like a pro. It’s not delivery, it’s not DiGiorno’s, it’s a Pane in The Glass ICT.
