From November 4-13 2022, enjoy ten days of local dining options in Wichita that are sure to please and delight any palate. Try out a new restaurant or dine at your favorite spot to help support the Junior League of Wichita.

■ Gingerbread Village | November 12 – 13
Where: Exploration Place
Gingerbread Village guests will receive a gingerbread house kit for each person. Each kit contains precut graham cracker pieces, icing and an array of candy for guests to use as they strategize, engineer, craft and build the ultimate sweet escape.

Each year, the galleries of Mark Arts are transformed with exquisite tablescapes, sure to give attendees ideas for the upcoming holiday season. Dining tables of all shapes and sizes are decorated by individuals, nonprofit organizations and businesses showcasing home entertaining ideas. Designing Women also offers a popular boutique in conjunction with the event, as well as Girls’ Night Out, ARTrageous Party and a Holiday Tea.

Where: Church of the Holy Spirit
This is a great place to start your holiday shopping. We have over 60 vendors, bake sale, raffles, and door prizes. Breakfast (homemade cinnamon rolls and biscuits & gravy) and lunch (chicken & noodles, taco soup, sloppy joes and homemade desserts) are available throughout the day. Santa will be available for pictures (free) with the children from 11am-1pm! Children 12 and under are free.

■ Wine Walk at Applejack Pumpkin Patch | November 12
Where: Applejack Pumpkin Patch
Six wine stations will be set up around the pumpkin patch, and each station will have your choice of a sweet or dry wine to try at each one. Grazing Plains Farm will also be joining us with an included cheese pairing at each station for the most Kansas wine and cheese pairing you’ll ever have!

■ 5th Annual Cuffs vs. Axes Charity Boxing Classic | November 12
Where: The Sports Forum
The Honore Adversis Foundation, Wichita Firefighters Charitable Fund, and Villa Boxing have partnered to sponsor the 5th Annual Cuffs vs. Axes Charity Boxing Classic on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at The Wichita Sports Forum. Proceeds from the Classic will benefit both volunteer, nonprofit [501] (c) (3) organizations as well as the Villa Boxing Club juvenile delinquency prevention program for at-risk youth in the Plainview area.

■ Cattle Baron’s Ball of Wichita | November 12
Where: B-29 DOC Hangar
Now celebrating its 30th Anniversary, the Cattle Baron’s Ball of Wichita includes a mission filled program, dinner, dancing, live entertainment, live & silent auctions, and western themed games. The Ball is a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and all funds support local programs & services, and cancer research. Tickets are $100, VIP tickets $200, Table of Ten $1,000, VIP Table of Ten $2,000. Website outlines everything included with each level.
