The Cornhole Cave

It’s been about a year and a half since we last stopped by The Cornhole Cave. It’s a locally owned shop that specializes in all things cornhole along with some other yard games. They are located at 7220 W. Maple, which is the northwest corner of Maple & Ridge. When we first stopped by in 2021, that spot was just going to be a temporary location, but they’ve since made it permanent.

I’m a huge yard games aficionado and have quite the collection at home. So, walking in this place gives me all the warm fuzzies. Whether you’re a big enthusiast or just someone who likes to play casually, the Cornhole Cave is perfect for you. They have different boards to purchase and can even offer customized options.

Regardless of your level of play, if you own a cornhole board, you should really invest in some different bags. The Cornhole Cave carries different brands and bags that can suit any person and skill level.

What’s great about The Cornhole Cave is that they make all their own boards and scoreboards. The woodwork is all done right here in Kansas. We even recently had them make some customized scoreboards for us. I may eventually have them make some custom kid-size boards that can be played inside.

The owner is a very active person in the local cornhole community, which seems to keeps growing. There are always tournaments going on all over town. But like I said, even if you’re a recreational player, it’s still a cool little stop to add to your list.
