West side pizza restaurant appears to have suddenly closed

Electric Pizzeria west side

It looks as though Electric Pizzeria at 240 S. West Street has closed. Their Google business listing has been marked as permanently closed, their website has been wiped clean, Facebook page has been removed and the interior has been reported as being cleaned out.

Unless they are planning to relocate, it appears the run for Electric Pizzeria is over. The restaurant originally started in Derby back in 2018 and then opened their West Street store in 2019. Unfortunately, a fire forced the owners to close the Derby store that same year.

Electric Pizzeria then opened another location at Central & Tyler in a former Pizza Hut space in 2021, but that was short-lived for three months. It was soon after, owners started a Cajun spin-off called T’Geaux Cajun in the same Central & Tyler location that also lasted a few months.

It’s been a tough go for Electric Pizzeria. But if rumors are true, it looks like the owners could be going a different route with a new concept on east Douglas.
