Towards the middle of 2022, the lunch buffet known as Caesar’s Table inside the Meritrust Credit Union Headquarters at 151 N Main St. went under new ownership and management changes. With that, Sam and Nancy Kuns, who had been running the restaurant dating back to their original location at 125 N. Market, left.
Since then, the reviews I’ve seen were less than stellar. I hadn’t had time to check it out, but it looks like I won’t be able to.
It was announced that Sam and Nancy will be returning to the restaurant to take over Caesar’s Table, which will go under a name change. The new name, as it should, will be Sam and Nancy’s. The buffet and salad bar people once loved at the original location will also return. I’m crossing my fingers they’ll still be carrying Dorothy Lynch dressing. Plus, I need some of Nancy’s desserts back in my life.
No official date has been set for the return but it is expected to be the 1st week of February.
When we hear of an official date, we’ll be sure to pass it on.
