Days when people can sled in Wichita are few and far between, but one event hopes to make it possible in the off-chance there are no snow days.
Snow Glow is an event put on by Mid-America All-Indian Museum, Wichita Park & Recreation and Wichita Snow Bros.. Due to the forecast, the event now takes place on Friday, January 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Mid-America All Indian Museum at 650 N. Seneca.
There have been many Snow Glow events in Wichita that have been a big hit for people. And why wouldn’t it be?
It’s a night sledding event for people of all ages. This month’s event features music provided by DJ Karetaker, an LED light show, food trucks, and snow provided by Snow Bros Snowmakers. Attendees are asked to bring a nonmetal sled to enjoy playing in artificial snow.
Pre-registration is required and will soon be available on this website. Event is subject to change due to weather conditions.
