Have you ever been to The Lumber Yard in Zenda, KS? I have and had a great time. My visit took place over lunch and after my initial review, many readers said I needed to return over dinner for steaks or their seafood buffet.
Unfortunately, their seafood buffet was no longer available due to the pandemic, product shortages and high shipping costs. But finally, it’s back.
On January 28 at 5 p.m., The Lumber Yard’s seafood buffet is returning. The final menu has not been finalized, but I’m told it will include crab legs and shrimp. More details will be released as they place their seafood order. No price has been determined. But when I spoke to them today, they said it would be at least $49-50. That price could likely go up, though.
Those interested in the seafood buffet can call The Lumber Yard at 620-243-6000 to make a reservation. Spots may sell out, so you’ll want to save your spot sooner than later.
If you’ve never been, they are located in Zenda, KS, which is at 311 N Main St. in Kingman County. It’s roughly an hour southwest of Wichita.
