After a little over two years in business, Jax Restaurant and Bar has closed.
They were located inside the Cambridge Market space at 9719 E. 21st St.
Many people may be familiar with Greystone, which used to be in the space starting in 2015. But a couple of years ago, owners closed down Greystone and basically retooled and rebranded it to Jax.
The property is now available for lease through Landmark Commercial Real Estate.
Another restaurant closed this week as well. Big Arbor Bar and Venue, in a Facebook post on Monday evening, announced they made the decision to close their bar and venue space at 4311 W. Central.
Big Arbor originally opened in April 2022 when they took over and renovated the building previously occupied by the nightclub, Tarragon’s.
Their big focus was on burgers, which had quite the fan club around town. According to their Facebook post, though, it seems like something different could be arriving this spring that will include their popular burgers.
